To Blowout or Not To Blowout?

We have all read, or maybe heard from a friend, about the fantastic results provided from the Brazilian Blowout hair smoothing service.  Recently, the Brazilian Blowout company has come under some scrutiny as to whether or not their "formaldehyde free" product does in fact contain formaldehyde.   After the current claims were brought to the attention of Oregon OSHA in early September, we have been following the outcome of these claims very closely. As of November 1st,  The Brazilian Blowout Company released new OSHA results showing that their product' s formaldehyde exposure levels are safely below OSHA's air level requirements.  Their final word:

So the question you may be asking yourself is, Should I do this?  Well the only answer we can give you is this.  I have listed the links of Oregon OSHA's Laboratory, the FDA, and Brazilian Blowout.  Our advice to our guests is to read the released statements and decide for your self if you feel the treatment is safe enough for you to do.

If at any point we feel that this service is a concern to either parties, we will cease to continue using said product.
